Namyt Help
Short answers to common questions about Namyt.
Getting started
Open @NamytBot in Telegram and tap Start. Connect your Google Calendar, check your working hours, and the bot will give you a personal booking link. Send it to any Telegram chat: whoever opens the link sees your free time in their own time zone and taps the one they want.
You can send the link with a button, copy it, or drop it into any chat as a card via @NamytBot. You can also offer one to three specific times to choose from instead of the whole schedule.
Your booking rules
In settings you set your working days and hours, meeting length, buffers before and after, a daily meeting limit, how many days ahead people can book, and the minimum notice before a booking (4 hours by default).
What your guest sees
There is nothing to fill in, because Telegram already passes the name. After booking, Telegram asks for permission so the bot can send reminders. If the guest declines, the confirmation stays on the screen, but there will be no reminders.
After booking, the guest can add the meeting to their own calendar with one button. We never ask for the guest's email.
Meeting place
By default Namyt creates a Google Meet link. Instead you can use your own link or connect Zoom, and then Namyt creates the Zoom meeting itself. How to connect Zoom is described on the Connecting Zoom page.
Reminders
Your guest gets Telegram reminders a day and an hour before the meeting, with "Going" and "Cancel" buttons, and the one a day before also lets them reschedule. There is no need to open the app. The bot messages you about every new booking, reschedule and cancellation.
Rescheduling and canceling
Your guest reschedules or cancels on their own, from a reminder or through the same link. You cancel from the meeting list in the bot. The other side gets a message, and the meeting in the calendar moves or the time is freed.
Recurring meetings
When booking, a guest can choose to repeat weekly or every 2 weeks. You can make any booking recurring or add a series yourself. All series are listed in the Recurring section: you can move a single meeting, change the series time, pause it or stop it. You decide what the guest can do on their own (skip, move one meeting, leave the series). If something new appears in your calendar at that time, Namyt asks whether to move the meeting or skip it. Each meeting in a series has its own Meet link.
Group meetings
Pick 2 to 6 options from your free time and send a poll to the group chat; no need to add the bot to the group. Participants vote with buttons, see who picked what, and can say nothing works or suggest their own time. While the poll is open, those times are closed for regular booking. If you set how many people you expect and they all pick the same time, the meeting is scheduled automatically; otherwise you tap to close the vote. The meeting is created in your calendar with Meet or Zoom, and participants add it to theirs with the Google Calendar or Apple / Outlook buttons. Anyone who wants reminders gets them in a private chat. We don't create anything in participants' calendars ourselves and don't collect their emails.
In the second mode, participants pick from your free time: you set a 7- or 14-day window, each participant marks every slot that suits them in a grid, and the chat shows the three options with the most votes. A time that works for everyone is scheduled automatically.
Limits
For 14 days after your first confirmed meeting you get full Pro. After that the free plan includes 5 meetings a month right away and 5 more that wait for your confirmation; after 10, booking closes until next month. The counter is shown on the bot's main screen.
Data and security
From your calendar Namyt sees free and busy time, and the events it creates itself. We do not read the titles or attendees of your other events. Details are in the Privacy Policy. Questions about data: privacy@namyt.com. Other questions: hello@namyt.com.
